Mental Health Technician - BHU
I. Position Summary: To provide quality care to BHU patients as specified in the individualized care plan and assignments, according to the hospitals’ policies, procedures, and objectives. To provide a safe and clean environment for all patients. Under the supervision of the nurse, provides assistance with the activities of daily living, physical comfort, and emotional and social support to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Behaves in a professional manner that is consistent with the mission of Claiborne County Medical Center.
II. Position Requirements:
A. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling desired.
B. Experience: Group Therapy experience and with geriatrics or mental health patients, strongly preferred. Additional Information Position Type : Pool/PRN/Per Diem Shift : Evening
